All organic food products labeled as "100% Organic" must contain only organically produced ingredients. However, products labeled as "Organic," must contain at least 95% organically produced ingredients, but the remaining 5% is suspect. Why? Because the other 5% can come from the National List of Approved Substances, and these substances may contain pesticide or herbicides residue. This residue may cause cancer.
